Relics

The word “Relics” is a symbol for the remnants of events passed. Every piece of jewelry tells its own story - either read in books or from life. They represent tragedies.  The drop of blood forged in silver represents for example a drama that reminds us of Van Gogh’s frenzy. Or bones with holes in it represent the pain of lost love.  Apart from silver the used materials such as horn, bone and wood bring in the aspect of their own “lived” history and add therefore to the narrative aspect of the collection.
